Bundle Of Joy Cards

I have been working on some things this past week. One of which is punching out some punches that I have borrowed from Brandie. I borrowed both of her tag punches and her spring bouquet flowers punch along with the daisy punch. I also made a few cards. They are pretty much all the same except for the colors and a few variations on the pink card. I used some of the ribbon I got from Inky Dinky Doo. She had a great ribbon share that I participated in and I wish I would have gotten more colors then I did, but oh well maybe next time. I used Bashful Blue and Ballet Blue card stock. This is the green one. I used Certainly Celery and Green Galore for this card. The rhinestone brads I bought from Paper Cents that are made by SEI. I think they are so cute. I bought every color :)Here is the yellow one. I didn't quite have a brad that matched the yellow, but it was close(kinda). I used So Saffron and Barely Banana. Finally, this is the pink one. I used the slit punch on the sentiment and I only used it on one side of the pretty in pink card stock and the opposite side of the regal rose. I think it gives it a little extra and besides, I love the color combo. I am really starting to warm up to these pinks! Well hopefully I will get around to doing some more stamping tonight. I dunno we will see, but if I do, I will be sure to share my creations with you all. Have a great weekend and happy stamping!

Roses In Winter for You, Cathy!!!

I made these for my son's grandma, Cathy. I got the stationary folder tutorial from Oodabug Ally's blog. It turned out really cute and I love them. I made eight cards, the stationary folder and stamped the outside of the envelopes. I hope you like them Cathy!!!This is the outside of the stationary folder. I used kraft paper because I thought I would change up the color scheme a little and I think it looks more hand made.
This is the inside of the folder. I made a slight boo boo. I didn't make the folder sleeves expandable so I could only fit 2 cards and 4 envelopes in the folder, but I still think it turned out looking very adorable. Here are all the cards that I made for her to use in the folder. I used different brads on each of the cards. I thought it would look really cute. I used pretty in pink, always artichoke and rose red. I told you guys I would get around to stamping the other day. I just didn't get everything finished that day. Well hope every body's weekend is going great and happy stamping!

Cute As A Bug Frame...

I made this for my son's grandma for her classroom. She told me her room had bugs on the walls. It is for a preschool classroom so it is quite child-like, but I think it is very cute!
Is it not just the cutest little picture frame you have ever seen?!? I am quite pleased about how it turned out. I tried to make the background look like a chalkboard and I think I did a pretty dang good job of it. Hope you like it Cathy! Well hope everybody has a great Friday and happy stamping!

Grrrr...

I just removed my Stampin' Top 50 emblem! They deleted my account with them for no reason at all. I was very upset and when I tried to write them, they never replied (and I wrote them over 2 weeks ago)! After waiting very patiently for a response and not getting one, I decided that I was going to delete the link. Since they didn't want my site up, I decided I didn't want their logo on my blog! I am boycotting their site!

On a lighter note, I might actually get some stamping done today so stay tuned and happy stamping!

I Am Really Starting to Like This Stamp Set...

I made another card with my Baroque Motifs stamp set. I love the way it turned out. You can see for your self how it turned out.
I used my ghosting technique when I made the main image. If you can see from the picture, it kinda pops out at you and I love it.Here is a close up of how it looks. I know my card is a bit busy, but I am quite pleased with it. On another note, I love all the wonderful comments that I have been getting! They have been very inspiring and I just want to let you all know how much I appreciate them. Keep on telling me what you think and maybe I will offer up some blog goodies sometime in the near future!!! So keep your eyes peeled and happy stamping!!!

On the Brighter Side of Things...

I did make some really cute cards. I made a card for my husband's birthday tomorrow. He will be 21 and I thought I would make a special card for his special day. I am actually very pleased with the way it turned out. But first...I made this last night before I made his birthday card. I needed some inspiration so I made it as kinda a pre-birthday card card. This is the card that I made for my husband for his birthday. I used a technique that I made up while I was making this card (I don't know if any of you have already used it, but I am going to call it my own until somebody tells me that it is theirs) All you have to do is stamp your base image and then stamp over it in whisper white craft ink. It gives it a kinda 3-D effect. I think I will call it ghosting. I think I got out of my stamping slump...finally! Happy stamping!

Bad Cards....

After a slew of bad migraines and quite frankly bad cards, I have just about had it with everything! Well not everything...I still like all of you! Anyhow I made a few cards the other day and it seems to me that my groove is kinda...well...off. I wasn't going to show you all what I made, but thought I should because you should show people that you don't always make lovely things. Here is terrible card #1.It just wasn't what I had envisioned. I was just hoping for something more than what the end result was. I was very upset with what had turned out. Or should I say what didn't turn out. Now this card was just down right BAD. I don't know what was going through my head when I made it, but whatever it was it was ugly!!! Well hope everybody else had a productive stamping weekend. Happy stamping!

Bad Cards and Migranes...

I got my new SU! stuff from the preview the other day and after cutting all of the new rubber out, I didn't get to use it because I had to go and pick Molly up from my mom's house. I didn't get home until really late so I waited until yesterday to use my new stamps. It just seemed like everything I stamped turned out looking like crap! I even ended up ripping one apart and throwing it in the trash. I have hit a stamper's block!!! Then on top of not being able to stamp, I woke up with the worst migraine I have ever had in my entire life! I got nausea and I felt like somebody was stabbing me with a dull knife in my skull. My darling husband went to the doctor for me while I lay in bed, and brought home some medicine. He brought me home some injectable Immitrex. I hate needles and told him that I didn't care how much my head hurt and that I would rather die then take a needle to my arm. So he went back to the doctor's office and picked up some more medicine that wasn't so painful to take. So here I am now with a whole day wasted because of a stupid migraine!!!! But on the brighter side, my husband is a wonderful man that I love so much. Well I hope everybody else got some stamping done because I sure didn't. Happy stamping and hope everybody has a great weekend!

More Roses In Winter!!!

I will miss the Roses in Winter stamp set, but at least I got mine before it was discontinued. I made a couple of cards with it the other day. I was going to post it the other day, but I had to pick up Molly from my mom's house. Molly is allergic to my mom's cat! Anyhow so we went to pick her up and didn't get back home until 11 o'clock last night. I was tired and didn't get to post what I made last night.I used the weathered stamp set on the background. I mounted it on shimmery white cardstock, which is very lovely in person. It makes your stamped images look great! This is the other card that I made. I used the cross hatch background stamp and also used shimmery white card stock. I also put the layers of the card on dimensionals which I was great enough to take a picture of...note the sarcasm!Isn't it just lovely?!? I think these two cards turned out looking pretty good. I got a lot accomplished the other day. I also made a going away card for one of Mike's co-workers not too long ago and I just haven't gotten around to showing it off. I thought I would let you all see it because it is very neat looking.I watercolored it and used some stickles on it. It was obviously for a woman...as if you couldn't tell from the picture. Well hope you all like the cards and happy stamping!

Crab & Company

I made this card last night while I was watching t.v. with my husband. My kids (both of them) are at their grandparent's house. I will be getting Molly back next Sunday. Caleb will be coming home on the fourth of July. I miss both of them, but I have some extra well deserved time to scrapbook and spend time with my husband (which by the way, we are enjoying every minute of it). Here is what I made.I made this just for fun. I got a new background stamp from my friend whom I traded one of my stamp sets for. I think it is missing something, but just can't put my finger on it. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to comment and let me know. Thanks and happy stamping!

Another Father's Day Card

I made another Father's Day card for some of my in laws. I borrowed a stamp set from my friend (who you can check out at Inkin Addict) and had to use it to make my Father's Day cards. I used the Lovely as a Tree stamp set to make it.I used my markers to color the tree. I haven't bought the stamp set yet, but am going to in the near future. I think it makes super cute cards! I also "marbled" some glossy white card stock. I am not too sure what you call it, but I like it! Hope all of you have a great week and happy stamping!

Birthday Invites!

I made Caleb and Molly's birthday invitations and am just now posting them. I know, I am doing things a bit backwards. It's ok though, as long as I get them posted right?

This is Caleb's birthday invitation. Isn't it just adorable!?! I love how they turned out. On the inside it has the date, time, place and RSVP information. I got the card fold idea off of Beate Johns's blog. I don't know if it was her idea, but it is so fun and easy to make.

Here is Molly's invitations. They were made with the same card fold, just different colors. I thought they were super cute! Let me know what you think and thanks for looking. Happy stamping!

Mike's Father's Day Card

I made Mike's Father's Day card the other day (I already gave it to him) and thought I would share what I came up with. It is really hard for me to make masculine cards and I actually like this one a bunch. It is sitting on our entertainment center and when we got married, we received this Willow Tree figurine as a wedding gift. We have others, but this is my favorite. The glare on the card is from the stickles I used on the trees.
This is the close up of the card. I used my markers and prismacolor pencils to color the trees and the background. I like the way the colors look together. I used some of the paper I have a hard time using(garden green and night of navy). It's not that I don't like the colors, it's just that they are not colors that I use regularly. Well hope you like them and happy stamping!

Birthday Cards

Here are some of the birthday cards that Marie and Brandie made for Molly and Caleb. They are so cute! I love getting hand made cards from other people. They just make you feel extra special. This is the one that Marie made for Caleb. I love this stamp set and I love the way she made the card. The frog flips out and the bottom half lowers and has a greeting inside(if you get what I mean). Thanks Marie!!! This is the one she made for Molly. I love shaker cards. It is so cute! You can click on the pictures and go to Marie's blog to see some of her other super cool cute cards! Here is a card that Brandie made for Molly. I love the cake...it is totally cute! You can click on the picture to check out her blog as well. She has posted a bunch of cards that she has made in the past few days. Finally, here is the card she made for Caleb. I love the airplane stamp set. It is from the Toy Box stamp set that has been discontinued. Too cute don't you all agree!?!

Sorry I Haven't Posted Anything...

I have been planning my kid's birthday party, which is tomorrow. I haven't had any time to post anything. I will post their birthday invitations later on today when I get done running a few errands. I have just been super busy these past couple of weeks. I haven't stamped anything in the past week. Thanks for understanding and hope everybody else has got some stamping done. Happy stamping!
