New Gina K. Projects.....

I made a ton of new projects over the past few days that I thought that I would share with you all. They are using the new stamp sets that I got from Gina K.I love this new stamp set so much. The flowers are beautiful! I used my Copics to color the flower. I just started using them and they have great color.I got some tins in the mail with my last shipment of stamps and decided to use one of them. I put brads inside because I ran out of room in my CTMH eyelet storage container. In addition to the tin, I also got those really pretty flowers and button brads in my package as well.I made this card to match the tin. I figured when you're feeling sick you need something in case of emergency. Well my emergency consists of embellishments!I think the DSP I used is called spring flowers or something like that, but I wanted something a little more colorful to get into the mood.I based this card around the color and texture around the brads. Those I also got in the mail with my stamp sets. You can purchase all the brads from Gina K. Last but not least, I made this frame to match the card. I love the colors and the way the flowers look with and without color. Well I hope you all had a great weekend and happy stamping!

Roses In Winter and Bronc Buster.....

Sorry I've been a ghost on my blog here lately...I've been going through a few things right now. First off, I had to move and the reason I had to move is because me and my husband are going to be getting a divorce. I don't want to go into any details, but everything is going good and it should be done soon. We've both come to an understanding and its all going smoothly. Anyhow I have however made a few things to share. This is my favorite stamp set out of all the ones that I own. I haven't taken it out to use it in quite a while but I just thought I would make something just to get me back in the groove.I made this for one of my co-workers. It was his birthday a few days ago. I don't remember if I had mentioned it before or not, but I work at Mercedes-Benz as a service assistant. Its a fun job and I get to drive really nice cars around all day! Stay tuned for more postings. I have some Gina K. projects that I have been working on. Happy stamping!

We Have a Winner.....

So I used a very scientific form of picking a winner...I drew names out of a bowl and the name I chose was JenMarie.

She said: OMGosh, what amazing blog candy! For today anyway, ;) my favorite stamp set is One of a Kind...I like how it goes with Boho Backgrounds.

So Jen Marie if you will email me at jennifernellenback@hotmail.com and let me know what you chose and also your email address I will get that to you asap!

Looks like most of you liked the Embrace Life set and Always. I personally have a ton of sets that I love so I couldn't just pick one. I'll hopefully have some new items to post later on in the week. Right now I am anxiously awaiting my Gina K. stamps. You can check out her blog and see the new design team. Hopefully you all have a great and safe Super Bowl weekend and happy stamping!

I'm Not Too Sure If I Like It A Latte.....

This was one of my favorite stamp sets that I have had. I haven't been very creative here lately so I decided to pull out one that I knew I could use and make a pretty good looking card with. I'm sure from the title you can tell that I'm not too sure if I like it or not.To make the background, I used the brushed silver cs and embossed it with silver ep. I used the enchante dsp that was in the same mini that this set was. I wound up getting my hands on some liquid applique. I had to buy it from Close To My Heart. I don't use their stamps but I had to have some of that stuff. To make the background look old, I just stamped the Canvas in versa mark and then sprinkled the silver ep all over. I then got the excess powder off and then with my finger I brushed off some patches of the ep. It was a bit messy but it turned out just how I wanted it. I also added a little bit of chocolate chip ink to the foam. Anyhow I don't have anything else to share with you so have a great week and happy stamping!

Boy Do I Have Some News For You.....

Well I have a couple of announcements to make. First, I have been really busy getting back on a work out schedule so I haven't really had the time or energy for that matter to stamp or blog.

Second, and its a really good on and I'm super excited to announce that I was chosen to be a guest designer for Gina K.'s design team! Isn't that just wonderful???? I had completely forgotten that I had sent in some of my work for a chance to be on her guest design team....yea who would have known that scatter brain me would have forgotten something that important! LOL!

So wouldn't you know it, I got an e-mail last night asking if I still wanted to do it. Obviously I was shocked and flabbergasted to read the email. I was so dumbfounded I had to read it twice and then I had to make sure that I was reading MY e-mail and didn't accidentally log into somebody else's!

I rushed into my room (where my DH lay in bed asleep) and told him the news. He was of course thrilled, but also thrilled when I left so he could get back to sleep :)! Anyhow I am hoping to get some stamping done and posted in the next couple of days but until then happy stamping!

Yes, I Am Still Alive!

No, I didn't fall off the face of the earth either! I finally found the time to stamp. My daughter, Molly, is starting to explore and get into everything. Therefor, I haven't had any time to stamp or clean my house for that matter. Yesterday I cleaned my house and the day before that I stamped! I know, I know, my priorities are a little backwards....stamping then cleaning. I just needed a little break from all the traveling and eating.

I am probably one of the only people that didn't gain any weight during the holidays. I have actually lost 5 whole pounds and I am absolutely thrilled! Although I am not thrilled that I didn't get to enjoy hardly anything on Christmas. I had one soda and one tiny bite of pecan pie. See what I had to sacrifice to keep the pounds off??? It was very hard and I had to deal with all the temptation.

Anyway, enough rambling and on to the one card that I did get out of my half hour of stamping ( I know, only 30 minutes....how did I get anything done?!?).

I've had this stamp set for almost a month now and haven't even used it. BAD stamper! I didn't have that much free stamping time so it is a very simple card with a very simple layout. At least I got something done though.

I thought I was going to use this set, but I just can't seem to get very creative with it. I have to see what others come up with and get a little inspiration before I give up on it. Well hop you all had a great holiday and a safe New Year. Happy stamping!

No Cards....

but I have been tagged by Wanda. So I have to share 7 random and/or weird facts about myself and tag 7 people to do the same. So first I'll name the 7 random things about myself.

1. I am double jointed in a lot of places....the weird one is I can dislocate my shoulder on command and it doesn't hurt. I can also put it back where it belongs too.

2. My nickname when I was a child was Gumby. For reasons stated in number 1.

3. I was named after an actress on One Life to Live. It was her real name not the one off the movie. My mom loves soaps!

4. I named my son after this guy in high school cause he was gorgeous and I love the name Caleb.

5. My daughter was not named after Molly Ringwald. I named her because I love the name Molly.

6. I'm a very picky person. I don't like too much of anything. I only like vegetables that are fried or baked potatoes.

7. I love ketchup on rice and potatoes that are cooked in a crock pot.

Well I hope you all enjoyed my weird facts and now to tag 7 people.

1. Inkcicles
2. Crafty Me
3. Combat Boots to Rubber Stamps
4. Confessions of a Reality Show Reject
5. Inkin Addict
6. Military Wife Stamping Spot
7. Stamping Expressions

Hopefully I will have a chance to use my new stamps soon, but until then happy stamping!
