And A Frame For You Too...

I also made a frame for you last night Cathy. I thought you could use one for your living room or somewhere. I used the Baroque Motifs stamp set that I got a couple of weeks ago.Let me know what you think and I will talk to you later. Hope everybody has had a great weekend and happy stamping!

Cute As A Bug Frame...

I made this for my son's grandma for her classroom. She told me her room had bugs on the walls. It is for a preschool classroom so it is quite child-like, but I think it is very cute!
Is it not just the cutest little picture frame you have ever seen?!? I am quite pleased about how it turned out. I tried to make the background look like a chalkboard and I think I did a pretty dang good job of it. Hope you like it Cathy! Well hope everybody has a great Friday and happy stamping!

Fire Fighters

Well I just made a new frame for Mike's parents. They are both firefighters and I found this great paper at the Emporium that was made for a fire fighter's scrapbook. I also bought some K & Company stickers that matched it. It looks much lighter in the picture, but I can assure it is a very deep red on the paper. I didn't want to use any solids on this just so it wasn't so overpowering. Instead I used vellum and stazon ink. Hopefully we will be going to New York to visit them this summer. I am so excited and can't wait!

A New Frame

I made this new frame for my son's room. This was one of the pictures of the snow that Caleb played in. I took the idea from the new SU! spring mini (available March 1, 2007). They used the big blooms stamp set and I used the snowflake spot set instead.

More Frames!!!

I made more frames! They are so cute. I used the butterfly of happiness stamp set on this one. I just love this stamp set. I know that everybody didn't really like this stamp set, but I do and I try to use it whenever I can. Caitlin just loves pink so I decided that pink butterflies would be perfect for this frame.

I made one very similar to this for her sister Cacie. She likes the darker colors and I found the perfect paper for both frames at the Emporium, right here in lovely downtown Del Rio. I used the A light heart stamp set that was offered back in September. I love this stamp set as well. I use it a bunch as well. I think both frames turned out great.

Happy Birthday!

I made my friends kids some frames for their up coming birthdays. They both have January birthdays so I made them both frames with their names.
They are going to be moving in about five months or so and I asked what colors/theme their rooms will be done in. She said that it would be pink or purple. I just mixed both of them together that way no matter what color the room would be, it would match. This is the card that I made to match the frames. After I made the card, I thought that instead of the ribbon I should have put the butterflies on the frame. It still turned out looking fine, but I can use the idea later or for something else. His room is going to be done in a western theme. He has cow spotted curtains and it will be painted blue. I found some paper (the very last matte on the letters) with little horses on it (even though you can't really tell from the picture) and it was perfect because along with the horses, there are blue polka dots that are all over the paper. I made my own cow spots for the background. This is the card I made to match Shane's frame. I used the same sticker set as I did in the frame. I ran out of the horse paper, but I think it looks fine anyway. On the inside it says "Happy Birthday Buckaroo". I saw the sticker set and knew that I would use it for the frame. It was such a good match for the room as well.

Finally Finished!!!

I have finally finished all of the Christmas projects that I had planned to make. I am so glad it is over. I thought it would never end. Anyhow I added some embellishments to Molly's frame. I used nursery rhyme stickers instead of baby stuff. I just thought to myself, "she will be one in just a few months and it wouldn't be very appropriate for me to use them because she will be too old for them." I can always change it up if I don't like it.
I also made a frame for a friend of mine. She has a picture of her sons and her husband when they were all younger and they are wearing the same clothes in each of them. She picked out the frame and the paper that I used to make it. I think it turned out really nice. The only thing that I would have omitted is the way she wanted me to put each of their names below the pictures. But it was a gift to her mother-in-law and she wanted to make sure that she could tell the difference between the two boys (I spelled Isaac wrong by mistake, but I fixed it even though it is wrong in the picture. Oops my mistake).

My first blog post

Yeah!!! I am so excited that I have finally found some time to post a blog and set this up. Last night I was busy trying to finish some frames for my kids and my husbands parents. They turned out so good. I am so proud of them. Here is the one I made for my son.
This is the frame that I made for my daughter Molly. This one isn't completely finished yet. I just need to add some stickers or something to that effect.

And this is the frame that I made for my husband's parents. His step mom's name is Joy and I made it for his dad. The Naturals Ivory card stock that you probably cannot see is what the dictionary definition of her name means.

Anyhow these are just a few of the things that I have been working on. I will hopefully post some more holiday gifts, that I have worked on, tomorrow.
