Just Some Rambling....

I don't have anything to post today, but I just wanted to let you all know that I have been working on some stuff for Gina K. I can't post any of them yet but as soon as I can I will. I'm hoping to make some V-Day cards today so hopefully I'll have them up by tomorrow. Please bear with me and have a wonderful week! Happy stamping!

So I used a very scientific form of picking a winner...I drew names out of a bowl and the name I chose was JenMarie.

Looks like most of you liked the Embrace Life set and Always. I personally have a ton of sets that I love so I couldn't just pick one. I'll hopefully have some new items to post later on in the week. Boy Do I Have Some News For You.....

Well I have a couple of announcements to make. First, I have been really busy getting back on a work out schedule so I haven't really had the time or energy for that matter to stamp or blog.

Second, and its a really good on and I'm super excited to announce that I was chosen to be a guest designer for Gina K.'s design team! Isn't that just wonderful???? I had completely forgotten that I had sent in some of my work for a chance to be on her guest design team....yea who would have known that scatter brain me would have forgotten something that important! LOL!

So wouldn't you know it, I got an e-mail last night asking if I still wanted to do it. Obviously I was shocked and flabbergasted to read the email. I was so dumbfounded I had to read it twice and then I had to make sure that I was reading MY e-mail and didn't accidentally log into somebody else's!

I rushed into my room (where my DH lay in bed asleep) and told him the news. He was of course thrilled, but also thrilled when I left so he could get back to sleep :)! Anyhow I am hoping to get some stamping done and posted in the next couple of days but until then happy stamping!

but I have been tagged by Wanda. So I have to share 7 random and/or weird facts about myself and tag 7 people to do the same. So first I'll name the 7 random things about myself.

1. I am double jointed in a lot of places....the weird one is I can dislocate my shoulder on command and it doesn't hurt. I can also put it back where it belongs too.

2. My nickname when I was a child was Gumby. For reasons stated in number 1.

3. I was named after an actress on One Life to Live. It was her real name not the one off the movie. My mom loves soaps!

4. I named my son after this guy in high school cause he was gorgeous and I love the name Caleb.

5. My daughter was not named after Molly Ringwald. I named her because I love the name Molly.

6. I'm a very picky person. I don't like too much of anything. I only like vegetables that are fried or baked potatoes.

7. I love ketchup on rice and potatoes that are cooked in a crock pot.

Well unfortunately I don't have anything new to show you. I am actually going out of town to my parents until next Friday or Saturday. My Order!!!!

Here is what I ordered from the new catalog. I ordered on the fifth and it finally got her on Friday! Here is the list of what I got in my order: Voila stamp set, Sanded background stamp, Polka dots and Petals stamp set, Boatloads of Love stamp set and I got the Party Punch hostess stamp set. I also got Wild Wasabi and Purely Pomegranate double stitched ribbon, Basic Grey taffeta ribbon and the ink pad and paper to match. I got the photo corner punch, pretty in pink taffeta ribbon, Outlaw and Fall Flowers Designer Series Paper, and large open ended envelopes.

I haven't had a chance to use them, but as soon as I do I will be posting a card. Have a great weekend and happy stamping!

I've Been Tagged!

I have been tagged by my good friend Marie. She is expecting and is due on Tuesday. I hope you all can say a little prayer for a safe and fast delivery for her. Anyhow she tagged me and I am supposed to tell you all seven random facts about myself.

1. I love to cook Italian food. It is my favorite.

2. I am an extremely picky eater. I don't like a lot of food. When I find something I like, I buy in bulk!

3. I call my daughter Moe (short for Molly).

4. I invest way too much money in scrapbooking, but I use everything that I buy.

5. I hate acrylic stamps. If Stampin' Up! changes to acrylic, I will stop selling/buying from them.

6. Everything that I own is mainly made by Stampin' Up!

7. I am not going to have any more kids. Two is enough! Mike went under the knife so I won't have to worry about birth control (which is a good thing cause it makes me grouchy)!

I have been stamping, I promise...

I have been very busy trying to finish the scrapbook I have been working on for a couple of months now. I have everything finished except the titles. I already know what they are going to be, I just have to stamp them. As soon as I finish, I will post what I have made. It is almost finished and I can't wait. I did a whole year and a couple of months worth of scrapbooking. I already have the next book all lined up for another year.

When I have finished, I will post the rest of the album. I am also hoping that by the time I am finish with the album that my new stamps will be here and I will have something new to share with everybody. Hope all of you had a great Fourth of July and happy stamping!

I Am Bursting With *Smiles*...

The reason that I am bursting is because I have the most wonderful husband in the whole world. My anniversary is in exactly one month. Today I got my anniversary present and it is absolutely gorgeous. I usually just ask for stamps or scrapbooking stuff, but not this holiday! Do ya want to see what I got??? I know you do...

This is the ring that I got from my husband for our anniversary. I love it!!! I saw it and had to have it. It is a very unique past, present and future ring. Now I know I have only made it to our one year anniversary, but I rarely find jewelry that I can't live without. I usually find stamps that I can't live without, and let me tell ya, they are equally expensive!!! So he really doesn't get off easy when he buys either one!!! Well I haven't really stamped today and hopefully I will get around to doing it. I hope everybody has a great weekend and happy stamping!

Grrrr...

I just removed my Stampin' Top 50 emblem! They deleted my account with them for no reason at all. I was very upset and when I tried to write them, they never replied (and I wrote them over 2 weeks ago)! After waiting very patiently for a response and not getting one, I decided that I was going to delete the link. Since they didn't want my site up, I decided I didn't want their logo on my blog! I am boycotting their site!

On a lighter note, I might actually get some stamping done today so stay tuned and happy stamping!

Bad Cards and Migranes...

I got my new SU! stuff from the preview the other day and after cutting all of the new rubber out, I didn't get to use it because I had to go and pick Molly up from my mom's house. I didn't get home until really late so I waited until yesterday to use my new stamps. It just seemed like everything I stamped turned out looking like crap! I even ended up ripping one apart and throwing it in the trash. I have hit a stamper's block!!! Then on top of not being able to stamp, I woke up with the worst migraine I have ever had in my entire life! I got nausea and I felt like somebody was stabbing me with a dull knife in my skull. My darling husband went to the doctor for me while I lay in bed, and brought home some medicine. He brought me home some injectable Immitrex. I hate needles and told him that I didn't care how much my head hurt and that I would rather die then take a needle to my arm. So he went back to the doctor's office and picked up some more medicine that wasn't so painful to take. So here I am now with a whole day wasted because of a stupid migraine!!!! But on the brighter side, my husband is a wonderful man that I love so much. Well I hope everybody else got some stamping done because I sure didn't. Sorry I Haven't Posted Anything...

I have been planning my kid's birthday party, which is tomorrow. I haven't had any time to post anything. I will post their birthday invitations later on today when I get done running a few errands. I have just been super busy these past couple of weeks. I haven't stamped anything in the past week. Thanks for understanding and hope everybody else has got some stamping done. Happy stamping!
