Baroque Motifs and Blog Candy....

I made a card for one of the doctors that works with Mike. They are getting out of the Air Force and opening a dentist's office in San Antonio. So I am going to make them some just moved cards to send to people.I used some of the ribbon I got from a ribbon share that I signed up for. It was a May Arts ribbon share that Jody did about a month ago. I finally used it and I think it turned out looking pretty dang good! The colors were perfect. Well I am going to hit 5,000 hits soon and will be giving away some blog candy. So stay tuned and happy stamping!

I've Been Tagged!

I have been tagged by my good friend Marie. She is expecting and is due on Tuesday. I hope you all can say a little prayer for a safe and fast delivery for her. Anyhow she tagged me and I am supposed to tell you all seven random facts about myself.

1. I love to cook Italian food. It is my favorite.

2. I am an extremely picky eater. I don't like a lot of food. When I find something I like, I buy in bulk!

3. I call my daughter Moe (short for Molly).

4. I invest way too much money in scrapbooking, but I use everything that I buy.

5. I hate acrylic stamps. If Stampin' Up! changes to acrylic, I will stop selling/buying from them.

6. Everything that I own is mainly made by Stampin' Up!

7. I am not going to have any more kids. Two is enough! Mike went under the knife so I won't have to worry about birth control (which is a good thing cause it makes me grouchy)!

Now I have to tag seven people. Hmmmm...that is hard cause there are so many blogs that I read that I love. But I will try to tag people that I haven't tagged already. So here they are:

1. Kendra

2. Tracy

3. Laura

4. Diane

5. Susan

6. Jen

7. Wanda

There you have it. I am hoping to post the card I made the other day. Hope you all had a great weekend and happy stamping!

I have been stamping, I promise...

I have been very busy trying to finish the scrapbook I have been working on for a couple of months now. I have everything finished except the titles. I already know what they are going to be, I just have to stamp them. As soon as I finish, I will post what I have made. It is almost finished and I can't wait. I did a whole year and a couple of months worth of scrapbooking. I already have the next book all lined up for another year.

When I have finished, I will post the rest of the album. I am also hoping that by the time I am finish with the album that my new stamps will be here and I will have something new to share with everybody. Hope all of you had a great Fourth of July and happy stamping!

Frolicking Frogs...and Best Fiends

The other day I made a Halloween card just for fun. My darling husband made one as well. He decided to make a card for my son for when he comes home from his grandma's house. This is the cutest card! He made the grass himself! So freakin' cute! I only helped when he colored the frogs. I showed him how to use the gamsol and blending stumps. But isn't he just so creative?!? Anyhow here is my card.I bought this stamp set from my up line before I started being a demo. I just love it! It is so cute! I used my prismacolor pencils to color the vampire and I sponged everything in old olive ink. Hope everybody has a great weekend and happy stamping!

Baby Swaps...

I don't usually join swaps, but I was in a good mood when I came across this blog. I joined Crafty Me's swap. It was baby themed and I had some pretty good ideas so I joined. On top of that, I love reading her blog. She is super creative and makes really cute stuff, so run on over and check her out!I also used Beate's card idea and template to make this card. I was trying to make it slightly neutral, but I just love pixie pink cardstock and couldn't resist. The patterned paper is from Creative Memories new paper pack, Blush Blooms. It is too cute!I distressed the edges with close to cocoa ink and used some new ribbon I got from Inky Dinky Doo. It was a really great share and I wish I would have gotten more. Maybe next time if she does another share. Well I would have done more stamping, but I have been kinda sick. I caught a virus from I don't know where. It was awful!!! I had the worst stomach ache in the world. I thought I was going to die! Anyhow hope everybody had a great 4th of July and happy stamping!

Bundle Of Joy For Brandie...

I made my friend a sample baby announcement just in case she has a boy. She is hoping for a boy after already having two girls. I think she is going to have twins, but don't tell...shhhh...Anyhow here is the card.I used Basic Grey Romani paper that I absolutely adore. It is lovely. I got the card idea and template from Beate Johns' blog. I used the Buggies and Booties stamp set. Here is the inside of the card. If she does have twins, we are going to put the other baby's info on the side of the fold with the gown on it. On the other flap we are going to put a small wallet of the baby/babies.

I Am Bursting With *Smiles*...

The reason that I am bursting is because I have the most wonderful husband in the whole world. My anniversary is in exactly one month. Today I got my anniversary present and it is absolutely gorgeous. I usually just ask for stamps or scrapbooking stuff, but not this holiday! Do ya want to see what I got??? I know you do...
This is the ring that I got from my husband for our anniversary. I love it!!! I saw it and had to have it. It is a very unique past, present and future ring. Now I know I have only made it to our one year anniversary, but I rarely find jewelry that I can't live without. I usually find stamps that I can't live without, and let me tell ya, they are equally expensive!!! So he really doesn't get off easy when he buys either one!!! Well I haven't really stamped today and hopefully I will get around to doing it. I hope everybody has a great weekend and happy stamping!
